Jean Giles-Sims, Ph.D. is a researcher, a uiniversity
professor, recognized expert on the family, and a Baby Boomer
grandmother. She lectures on the complexities of family
dynamics and has published widely on family issues. She
is currently working on a book, based on in-depth interviews
with grandmothers, titled, The New Grandmother:
Redefining Old Stereotypes. She loves being a grandmother
to Athena.

Marty Seay Norman, M.Ed. is a licensed counselor,
published author and experienced marketing workshop leader.
She has published articles on personality profiles and
community interests for Fort Worth and
Aura Magazines. She is currently writing two children's
books. She has marketing experience for individuals, groups,
and non-profit organizations. Her therapy specialties include
women and children. She is the proud grandmother of Jack, Lily,
and James.
